FOs Professional Ethical Council aims to contribute to ethical reflection and awareness among child welfare educators, social workers, care workers, and welfare officers.
Composition
The Professional Ethics Council is elected by the congress and consists of three members from each electoral section and one from the welfare officers. Only one of these members can have an education other than a bachelor’s degree in child welfare, social work, social education, or welfare officer. Additionally, two external members are appointed.
Mandate
The council is mandated to promote ethical reflection and awareness among professionals, ascertaining that ethical discussion is prioritized on the organization’s agenda. The council accepts inquiries for advice and discussion on ethical matters.
